Studio Art II: 3D Emphasis

Students build on skills learned in Studio Art I through in the application of three-dimensional visualization and creation. This course introduces tools and techniques that will enable students to produce works in materials that may include ceramics, wood, stone, metal, as well as nontraditional materials like fabric, paper, or food. Analog and digital processes will be explored, and experimentation is encouraged as students start to move toward more independence as artists. Work is reviewed and evaluated through individual and group critiques.
